Today a photographer sent me a story about taking photos of flowers as a young adult. He reviewed the slides and was going to pitch one, because it was out of focus. His mother remarked, "That's actually my favorite." Others in the community echoed this sentiment, and he entered it into his first photo contest, winning an honorable mention. Maybe something higher, and instructive (or driving us forward), is at work.
